Morgan graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. She worked as an Animal Experience Specialist at the Newport Aquarium before attending law school at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, earning her J.D. in May 2020. While in law school, Morgan was a Thayer Fellow with the Ohio Innocence Project where she represented wrongfully convicted clients in post-conviction proceedings, a law clerk at Laufman and Napolitano LLC where she worked on civil rights cases as well as federal and state criminal defense cases, and an intern with the Indigent Defense Clinic at the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office. After graduation she joined the public defender’s office in West Palm Beach, Florida where she worked in the misdemeanor, intake, and social services divisions. Morgan moved back to Cincinnati at the beginning of 2022 to be closer to family and worked as a post-graduate fellow at the Ohio Innocence Project before joining the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in August 2022.
