Mary has been an actively practicing attorney for more than 23 years. During law school she was admitted to the Kentucky Bar with a limited license to practice as a part of a clinical fellowship through Chase Law School and the Children’s Law Center, Inc. After she passed the bar, the Children’s Law Center hired her as a staff attorney where she practiced in the area of special education law. After leaving the law center, she engaged her practice primarily in the area of family law in the Domestic Relations Court in Hamilton County. Ultimately, she moved her practice to Kentucky, where she has remained in solo practice since 2002. In 2006, Mary was chosen by the Kenton and Campbell County, Kentucky family courts to join their respective GAL/Court Appointed Counsel panel of attorneys to represent the children or parents in Dependency, Neglect and Abuse cases brought before those courts. Due to the large caseloads these courts assigned her to, she dedicated her practice exclusively to those matters. She is now eager to bring her experience and dedication to the Hamilton County Public Defender as GAL Trial Counsel.
