Municipal Trial Counsel

After spending several years in the U.S. Army, including a deployment to Iraq with the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, Marquez attended Fairmont State University, receiving a B.S. in Sociology and a B.A. in Communication. He received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2022. While in law school, Marquez was a fellow at the Ohio Innocence Project, member of the College of Law Trial Team, and Fellow in the Indigent Defense Clinic at the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office. He also interned for the Children’s Law Center and volunteered at the Hamilton County Help Center. Marquez joined the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in August 2022.
