Serve as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem for children who are the subjects of Dependency Court complaints alleging abuse, neglect and/or dependency. Advocate for children in all phases of dependency litigation including trials, reviews, and in-camera hearings. Work with treatment teams to ensure appropriate services for children in care. Conduct visits with children in a variety of settings. Serve as a parent surrogate for children who need or receive special education services. Provide written reports to Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
