Municipal Trial Counsel

Kamaya earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northern Kentucky University in 2019 before beginning her legal career as a clerk at the Hamilton County Courthouse. She went on to earn her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2024. During law school, Kamaya gained valuable legal experience through internships with the Ohio Justice & Policy Center’s Beyond Guilt program and the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office. These experiences strengthened her commitment to advocacy and to ensuring meaningful access to justice
