Ms. Moss is a 2009 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law. During her second year of law school, Ms. Moss served as the President of the Criminal Law Association. During her third year of law school, Ms. Moss participated in the Juvenile Delinquency Law Clinic, representing juveniles charged with misdemeanor offenses. From 2010 to 2014, Ms. Moss maintained a private law office in Centerville, Ohio and represented juveniles and adults in misdemeanor and felony cases and adults on criminal appeals, acted as a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for children in delinquency and abuse/neglect dependency cases, and handled a variety of other civil and family law matters. From 2010 to 2014, Ms. Moss was also an adjunct professor at Wright State University teaching an advanced undergraduate writing course on Law and Psychology. Ms. Moss joined the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in October of 2014 as a member of the Guardian ad Litem Division. She served as an Attorney/GAL for children on abuse cases and represented non-attorneys who served as the GAL for children who were neglected and/or dependent. She also acted as appellate counsel on all cases in which she was the Attorney/GAL or the Attorney for the GAL. In March of 2020, Ms. Moss joined the Juvenile Division of the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office as an Appellate/Trial Attorney and represents juveniles charged with misdemeanors and felonies at both the trial court and appellate level.
