During law school, Jamila participated in the Constitutional Litigation Clinic, where she had the opportunity to do post-conviction work through the Ohio Justice & Policy Center, representing three incarcerated clients. She also deposed the Ohio Prison Medical Director for a civil litigation case regarding an incarcerated client who was denied medical care.
