After graduating from the University of Michigan Law School, Frank initially clerked on the Alaska Court of Appeals in Fairbanks, Alaska. He then worked for the Alaska Public Defender Agency, also in Fairbanks, before moving back home to Cincinnati. He attended Ohio State University for college and then served in the City Year program as part of AmeriCorps before attending law school.
