Ms. Hughes is a 2020 graduate of the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law. She was admitted to practice in Ohio that same year. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in English Education at the University of Evansville, Ms. Hughes worked in several camp settings, including a camp specifically for children involved in child welfare. She also taught English in a Title I school to children in 5th through 12th grades. In law school, Ms. Hughes spent a summer working in the legal department of Cincinnati Public Schools and another summer working for Lexis Nexus, a legal research company. Additionally, Ms. Hughes was elected the Student Bar Association President by her classmates in 2019 and served through 2020. Finally, Ms. Hughes was awarded the Donald J. Polden Student Leadership Award in 2020. This award recognizes an excellent student leader in the graduating class of the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law. Ms. Hughes joined the GAL division on October 19, 2020.
