Darceny Winston attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where she earned her B.A. in History in 2016. She received her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2021. During her time in law school, Darceny participated in a fellowship with the Ohio Innocence Project, a summer internship with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy, and the Indigent Defense Clinic through the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office. Darceny was also a member of UC’s Criminal Law Society. Darceny joined the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office Municipal Division in August 2021.
