Felony Director

Connor began his legal career in the Clinton County Public Defender's Office where he represented clients in misdemeanor, juvenile and felony Court. During the short time he practiced in Clinton County, Connor took five felony cases to jury trial and represented nearly two dozen clients in bench trials. In 2018 Connor was given the opportunity to join the Hamilton County Public Defender's Office where he practiced in both the Municipal and Felony divisions. During this time Connor greatly developed his skills as an attorney through experience and the amazing training opportunities afforded to him by the office, such as Dayton Trial School and NCDC. In 2021 Connor transitioned into private practice at Ernst & Associates for the next four years. During this time Connor was a member of the Felony Panel and represented hundreds of indigent clients in the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court. Connor also took numerous felony cases to jury trial in the surrounding counties. In January of 2026 Connor was honored to return to the Hamilton County Public Defender as the Director of the Felony Division.
