Youth Defense Social Worker

Gather and present mitigation for holistic defense team. Perform assessments, provide psychosocial summaries, and support the client through the legal process. Connect clients and families to community-based supports.

Ms.Banda has experience supporting youth and families through roles in nonprofit, educational, and community-based settings. Her background includes facilitating youth programs, coordinating outreach initiatives, and connecting individuals and families to supportive resources and services. During her undergraduate studies, she interned with Ignite Peace, where she worked with immigrant and refugee youth, helping create safe and welcoming spaces for young people while supporting initiatives focused on social-emotional development, conflict resolution, and community engagement.
