Sam Heller is a 2019 graduate from Vanderbilt University Law School. While at Vanderbilt, Mr. Heller worked in the Criminal Practice Clinic, representing people facing criminal charges. During his time at Vanderbilt, Mr. Heller also worked for a Federal District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Michigan and the Federal Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Subsequently, Mr. Heller was named a Gideon’s Promise Fellow through the Law School Partnership Project. Gideon’s Promise is an organization focused on reforming public defense systems by training public defenders and creating a nationwide community of reform-minded lawyers.
