Ms. Peters is a 1997 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law. She was admitted to practice in Ohio that same year.
Ms. Peters has served as a staff attorney at the trial and appellate levels of Ohio’s judiciary. She began her career at the Wood County Court of Common Pleas. In 2003, Ms. Peters went to work at the Sixth District Court of Appeals. She joined the chambers of the Honorable Judith A. Lanzinger at the Supreme Court of Ohio in 2005 and acted as her senior judicial attorney from 2005-2016. Ms. Peters then served as a staff attorney at the Tenth District Court of Appeals.
Ms. Peters joined the Public Defender’s Office in 2019.
