Ms. Rice is a 1993 graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. She was admitted to practice in Ohio in 1997.
From 1997 to 1999 she maintained a private law office in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She is also a former assistant Hamilton County Prosecutor.
As a former prosecutor and as defense attorney, she has tried numerous cases in Hamilton County, primarily in Juvenile Court.
A substantial portion of her private practice involved the defense of clients charged in municipal court and civil cases in Common Pleas.
On August 1, 2002 she became a trial attorney in the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office in the Juvenile Division.
