Congratulations to Ali Hatheway and Kari Bloom!
Last night was historic. It was a first!
Two young Public Defenders from our office were elected to Common Pleas judgeships.
Ali is going to the General Division and Kari to the Juvenile Court.
Both are hard working, passionate attorneys who've shown their dedication to their clients time and again. No doubt they'll take that work ethic and passion to do justice for all who come before them.
This was a tough year to run for office, given the constraints of COVID-19. They never gave up.
Our loss is Hamilton County's gain. We'll wish them well as they prepare to take a huge step forward in their careers.
